Committee Introduction

The BBS-AS Committee meets in person twice a year at the Indoor and Outdoor Championships. The day to day running of the section is conducted between the members of the committee.

The Committee consists of:

• Executive Officers
• Chairperson
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Ordinary Committee Members

Executive Officers are elected for 3 years and Committee Members for 2 years.

Who’s Who and Contact Information

The following table contains the email addresses and some information on the people filling the various committee roles. The roles and email address are in the first column with the name and a short biography of the person covering that role in the second column.

Please note that members of the BBS-AS Committee are all volunteers giving up their spare time and many have full time jobs. Therefore, please allow them time when you contact them. They will reply as soon as they are able to.

When emailing a Committee Member who has more than one role please use the appropriate email address for the subject you wish to communicate about.

Chairman E-mail: chair@bbsarchery.org.uk	Graham Rees-Evans (Non-VI) Graham has been spotting and supporting VI Archery for over 20 years and has attended National and International competitions, including as VI Team Manager.
Secretary E-mail: secretary@bbsarchery.org.uk	Carol Davies Carol is an archer with a B2 sight classification who discovered archery when she became a member of Blind Veterans UK. She joined the BBS Archery Section committee in 2015 as Secretary. Carol wants to help heighten the profile of visually impaired archery and wants to attract more people of all ages to the sport.
Treasurer E-mail: treasurer@bbsarchery.org.uk	Roger Rees-Evans Roger is an archer with a B1 sight classification who has been shooting since 1979. He is a founding member of BBS Archery Section and was the first Chairman from 1985 till 1997.

Tournament Organiser E-mail: tournament-org@bbsarchery.org.uk	Malcolm Higman (Non-VI) Malcolm is an Archery GB County Coach who has been working with VI archers since 2003 as both a coach and a spotter. Malcolm is also involved in the manufacture and supply of a lot of the specialised equipment used by many VI archers.

Committee Member	Rick Smith (Non-VI) Rick has been an archer since 1997 and is now an Archery GB Level 2 Coach. Rick has been involved in VI archery since 2014 including at international tournaments where he has made links with VI archers worldwide.
