Record Claim Procedure
Information about claiming Records.
To avoid any confusion, in order to claim a score as a record, the following procedure must be followed.
A Record can be claimed from the BBS National Indoor and Outdoor Championships or at a County Level Championships or above.
A claim form MUST be accompanied by verification of this score. This will be a signed score sheet and/or or a published results list from the event.
In all cases it is for the archer to initiate the claim procedure by following the guidelines on the BBS Archery Record Claim Form and forward a copy to The BBS Archery Records Officer, who will then check the existing records.
The Records Officer will then confirm whether or not a new record has been set or broken.

Articles should not be forwarded for publication in Target quoting Records as being set or broken unless the above procedure has been followed.
